Kootenay Livestock Association is dedicated to being a primary resource for members, as well as non-members, throughout the agriculture industry.

Its purpose is to strengthen and promote the agriculture industry's voice to Government and the people, as well as the industry's position in society by being able to speak as a united voice for the Kootenay region.

We want to collaborate with like-minded individuals, associations, societies and organizations having objectives in whole or in part to those of this association.

We wish to provide for the protection, management and improvement of Crown range situated within the Kootenays under the provisions of the ALR, Forest and Range Practices Act and regulations thereunder.

The KLA is committed to the promotion and education of all aspects of agriculture within the schools and the general public of the Kootenay region.
